I have another race to add to the list - the E.T. Midnight Marathon in Rachel, NV. It's a full marathon, which starts at midnight, and runs near the mysterious Area 51 in the Nevada desert under the full moon. They have breakfast in the morning, and then buses bring you back to the casino, just in time to meet your spouse coming in from a night of gambling!
How awesome would that be?
More awesome would be you run through the morgue where the aliens are frozen, and bigfoot and the bionic man show up at one of the feeding / hydration stations to hand out "special" packages to only some runners that know the secret handshake.
