I am super stoked to be able to offer you the opportunity to win two free entries for the CMYK5 run in Sherwood on August 5th. While I won't be able to color up my run with you (I'll be in Bend, recuperating from the Cascade Lakes Relay), I will be with you in spirit as you run your white out for a great cause - Portland Strides (raising money for the fight against breast cancer).

What exactly is CMY5K?

If you’ve done a traditional 5K, you know they can be a bit bland. But CMY5K is the running equivalent of Dorothy’s house landing on the Wicked Witch. Waves of virginal white runners and walkers will start every 3-5 minutes. Then, at each kilometer, CMY5K staff and volunteers will powder participants in Color Splash Zones. Each zone dispenses a different color; 1K-cyan, 2K-magenta, 3K-yellow, 4K-green, 5K-a combination of all colors. So what if you should accidentally “taste the rainbow?” Not to worry. The powder is 100% natural (it's colored corn starch basically) and safe.

On Sunday, August 5 2012 at Sherwood Forest Productions Event Center at 9AM.
