I don't know about you, but for me, December is all about next year. Sure, there are millions of things to do with the holidays and all, but by far the sweetest is dreaming and planning next year's running.
I've been doing that a lot.
I've decided to "get on the log" as my husband would say.
Which basically means I'm going to make a decision and go with it, even if it means that I end up crashing spectacularly or finding myself at the bottom of a hill I never planned to ride.
I'm going with the ultras.
What "log" are you planning to ride in 2012? I want to hear about the races you are excited to be running next year!
I think that's a good plan! I'm doing the go-for-broke plan to and gonna try a 70.3! Which ultra you thinking about??
ReplyDeleteA 70.3! Awesome!!! I am looking at a bunch of ultras, actually. The key one is the Mt Hood 50 Miler in July. But there are 4 more I would like to make happen. Registration for the first opens tomorrow - yikes!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!! So excited for your Ultra plans!! I am looking at starting those in 2013....SO EXCITING!
ReplyDeleteYou are??!!! That's so cool - yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D I keep toying with the idea of a triathlon...
ReplyDeleteHURRAH!! Ultras are really amazing, in countless ways. And in so many ways, they are easier on your body than road running.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read about your journey!
I'm going with all trails all the time. (With the exception of Pacific Rim)
ReplyDeleteVery cool!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo logs I'm riding this year. One to sub 3 hours at Boston (it's my first time) and to finish top five at Psycho Wyco 50K. It's a beast http://www.psychowyco.com/id7.html
ReplyDeleteMy final goal is to try to run all my longs run without a watch. Your blog is excellent.
